A Touch of Malice by Scarlett St. Clair

Persephone and Hades are engaged. In retaliation, Demeter summons a snowstorm that cripples New Greece, and refuses to lift the blizzard unless her daughter calls off her engagement.

When the Olympians intervene, Persephone finds her future in the hands of ancient gods, and they are divided. Do they allow Persephone to marry Hades and go to war with Demeter or prohibit their union and take up arms against the God of the Dead?

Nothing is certain but the promise of war.

Book #72 of 2021

REVIEW: This is the 4th book in this adult, spicy, fantasy, Hades & Persephone retelling that I am currently obsessed with. I really love Persephone's growth in this book. She is really starting to not only grow into Godess-hood but also adulthood. She really takes her time to think through her decisions and what kind of outcome will come from them. It seems that the Underworld has really perfected welcoming souls into their realm and it's absolutely beautiful. I can only hope to be greeted that way some day. There were so many twists and turns and some deliciously wicked moments of treachery. And that ending though!!!!! This was another 5 star read for this series and I don't know if my heart can take waiting for the next installment!
